1) Are these Travel Packages
genuine? How can Luxury Condos, First Rate Cruises, and other quality
travel products be sold so inexpensively?
Yes, these membership travel packages are indeed genuine and
Coastal Travel and Leisure Ltd. guarantees* your satisfaction with
your purchase. The fact is -- Resorts have been selling similar vacation
packages for more than 25 years but at substantially higher prices! Except
during the highest point of peak travel season nearly all Resorts, Hotels
and Cruise Lines experience a consistent vacancy rate. Many of these same
businesses participate in some form of travel package program (such as
Coastal Vacations) as this provides at least some income toward
their business overhead, rather than receiving no income for vacancies.

How does the Coastal Vacations program work?
Upon purchasing a membership in Coastal Vacations, you will receive a
Membership Portfolio containing new member information and a Registration
Form. You will need to complete and mail the Registration Form to
Coastal’s head office in Kissimmee Florida. Within approximately 2 - 3
weeks you will receive your 18 personalized Coastal Travel Cards
with your membership ID number. Your membership will now be
“activated”. You can use the telephone numbers on the back of each Card
and/or the telephone numbers in the Resort and Hotel Directories to make
travel inquires, reservations etc. For your Bonus Vacations, and
Bonus Cruises you will need to fill-out and mail the appropriate
travel “certificate” to Coastal’s head office in Kissimmee for
reservations etc. You will then be contacted regarding the status of your
reservation request.
3) Are any of the member travel
benefits subject to “expiration”?
A) Your first two
Bonus Cruises must be completed within one year of membership
“activation“. All other Bonus Vacations do not have an expiration
date. As you plan a trip, simply fill out the appropriate vacation
“voucher” and mail it to the Kissimmee office. This will “activate”
the voucher for a particular trip. You then have 1 year after
voucher activation to complete your trip.
B) The Coastal
Travel Cards can all be renewed annually for only $89.95
U.S. (subject to change). This is less than $5.00 /card (with plans to add
more discount travel cards in the future). Upon card renewal, members
receive new Travel Directories containing updates on newly participating
Resorts, Hotels, Cruise Lines etc. as they are printed.
4) What if I personally cannot use
all the vacations that come with membership in Coastal Vacations?
Good News. All the Bonus Cruises and Bonus Vacations you receive as a
member of Coastal are transferable! You can share them with others
--- family, friends, business associates, whomever you like. However, the
personalized Coastal Travel Cards issued in your name are exclusive ---
for use by Coastal members only. Accordingly, they are not
transferable.
5) Are there any restrictions on
when I will be able to travel, using my membership cards or vouchers?
Generally, it will be more difficult to obtain reservations for travel
through the height of the peak travel seasons. Some --- but not all
providers (i.e. some Condo Resorts and Hotels) do restrict their discounts
accordingly. Otherwise, providers may request that you submit 2 or 3
choices of travel dates. And with so many available destinations you
otherwise should be able to travel pretty much any time you want.
6) How far in advance must I make
my travel reservations in order to benefit from membership discounts?
Members are advised to plan ahead as they normally would for any major
trip or vacation, choosing more than one preferred travel date. One of the
many great benefits of a Coastal Vacations membership is the access to
Short Notice trips (also referred to as “Burn Weeks”). These
are travel opportunities that either remain available or have become
available close to the scheduled travel date for Cruises, Condos, Hotels
etc. for the very lowest of prices!
7) In order to book and receive a
great price on a Resort Condo, Cruise or Hotel etc. will I have to listen
to a “sales pitch”?
Absolutely not. The only requirement is to submit your preferred travel
dates. You will then be notified regarding the status of your
request.
8) As a member of Coastal Vacations
can I resell any of the individual Vacations or Cruises?
No. These Special Promotion Vacations and Cruises cannot be resold
individually or otherwise. However, you can share them with others as
gifts. Many members share them with family, friends, business associates
or use them as business incentives for customers, clients or employees
etc. Others donate vacations to non profit organizations.
9) Aside from the price, what are
the major differences between the Level I Travel Package and the Level II
Travel Package?
The Level I Travel Package consists of 18 Coastal Discount Cards
and 25 Bonus Vacations which include (mostly)
3Day/2Night Hotel/Resort accommodations as well as 5 very good Cruises
which vary from 4Days/3Nights to 7Days/6Nights. Also, the Level I Package
allows members to order as many of these “bonus” Hotel/Resort vacations
and as many of these Cruises as often as they wish (in unlimited numbers
and unlimited frequency). These Level I “vacation” stays and bonus
“cruises” provide members with fabulous travel in North America and
the Caribbean. The Level II Travel Package consists of The
International Vacations Membership Card. This card provides members
with unlimited 7Day/6Night complimentary lodging
accommodations (as many and as often as desired) to international
destinations. Also, the Level II membership card provides members with
unlimited 4Day/3Night Carnival Cruises (unlimited in number
and unlimited in frequency!). The Level II International Travel Membership
also includes 17 Bonus Vacations.
